Technical and Madrasa Education Division, Directorate of Technical Education under the Ministry of Education under the Bangladesh Land Survey Education Development Project (1st Revised) will be recruiting manpower for the entire project period for the entire project period under the Bangladesh Land Survey Education Development Project. For this purpose, applications are being invited subject to conditions from interested candidates.

Conditions for applying for the recruitment of DTE Job Circular

  • Application deadline: 31st July 2023 till 05:00 pm.

Age of applicant should be 18-30 years as on 31 July 2023 AD and maximum 32 years for children of freedom fighters.

Procedure to apply by post for the recruitment of DTE 

A) All candidates who wish to apply must first visit the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education www.techedu.gov.bd and download the application form.

b) Once the application form is properly filled, keep the following documents in one place. 

  • Recently 03 copies of passport size color photos. 
  • Photocopy of National Identity Card. 
  • Photocopy of educational qualification certificate of all levels. 
  • Photocopy of all examination mark sheets. 
  • Photocopy of experience and training certificates. 
  • (if applicable) Character Certificate (Original) issued by Gazetted Officer of 1st Class. 
  • Permanent Address Certificate (original). 
  • Application Fee Deposit Receipt (Original Copy).

Note that the photocopies of all the documents which have been requested along with the photograph must be attested. Must be attested by a 1st Class Gazetted Officer. Application to Project Director, Bangladesh Land Survey Education Development Project, Room No-401, Directorate of Technical Education, F-4/B, Agargaon, Sher Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207 during office hours up to 31/07/2023 To be reached by direct/postal/courier service.

d) Application form and required documents should be sent in 10 X 5” size letter envelope. The current address should be written clearly on the letter envelope.

But candidates can also type if they want. Then an unused postage stamp worth 10 taka should be affixed to the said letter.

Application fee submission procedure for recruitment of DTE 

Project Director, Bangladesh Land Survey Education Development Project (1st Revised), Room No-401, Directorate of Technical Education, F-4/B, Agargaon, Sher Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207 through Treasury Challan Code 1-3703-0000-2031 200/- (two hundred) should be deposited in any branch of Bangladesh Bank or Sonali Bank and the copy of the challan should be attached with the application form.

Written and Oral Test will be conducted for all posts. The venue, date and schedule of the examination will be intimated to the candidates in due course through SMS on their mobile phones or through letter by post. Department of Technical Education Brief Introduction

Directorate of Technical Education is a Directorate of Technical and Madrasa Education Department under the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It was established in 1960 with the aim of creating skilled human resources through expansion and upgradation of technical education. In the last half century, many branches of technical education and administration have proliferated. The main functions of the department are 4 namely: human resource management, management of development activities, supervision of academic activities and establishing links with domestic and international organizations related to technical education.

The total number of government educational institutions under the department is 200. Teaching activities are conducted at three levels. Namely: Certificate Level, Diploma Level and Degree Level. There are 134 technical schools and colleges and 1 Vocational Teachers Training Institute at certificate level. There are 50 polytechnic institutes at diploma level and 1 technical teachers training college and 4 engineering colleges at degree level. The Directorate of Technical Education is located at F-4/B, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Administrative Area, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207.
