But every year about one lac students take part in Admission Test in Dental College and Dental units of different Medical Colleges in Bangladesh. Those candidates who have passed the HSC Equivalent Exam in 2020 or 2019 and the SSC Equivalent Exam in 2018 or 2017 from the Science group with Biology at least a total GPA of 9.00 and 3.50 in each subject may participate in the admission test. Candidates must have to acquire a 3.50 GPA in HSC Biology. But those who are from Tribal or non–tribal coming from the hilly district have to acquire a total GPA of 8.00 in HSC and SSC. 1. SSC Equivalent Passes: 2017 or 2018
2. HSC Equivalent Passes: 2019  or 2020
3. SSC Equivalent GPA: At least 3.50
4. HSC Equivalent GPA: At least 3.50
5. GPA in total: At least 9.00 (8.00 for Tribal or non–tribal from the hilly district).
6. At Least GPA in Biology: 3.50.

BDS Dental College & Medical College Dental Unit Admission Test 2020-21 Overall Information with Numbering

The 1 Hour long Dental College Admission Test Exam will be held on 100 marks with 100 MCQ-type Questions with 1 mark for each question. The number will be cut deduct by 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer as a punishment for each wrong answer. 40 marks are the pass mark for the Dental College admission test. The Exam will be held on subjects named Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Knowledge, History of Bangladesh, and Freedom fight. Exam marks and overall Information at a glance:

An Upper Limit of 200 marks will provide depending on HSC and SSC or equivalent results. HSC GPA will be multiplied by 25 and SSC GPA will be multiplied by 15.

SSC / Equivalence GPA x 15 = 75

HSC / Equivalence GPA x 25 = 125

Total 200 marks (Upper Limit) come from your SSC and HSC result.
