There are Eight (8) Medical College Dental Units and One (1) Dental College are available in Bangladesh and the total seat capacity of these Medical and Dental College Unit are Five Hundred Forty-Five (545) only. But every year about one lac students take part in Admission Test in Dental College and Dental units of different Medical Colleges in Bangladesh. Dental College admission test circular 2020-21 has been published on the Directorate General of Health Services’ official website i.e.dghs.teletalk.com.bd.
This Year Dental Colleges Online Admission Application starting from 27 March 2021 and ending on 15 April 2021. The admission test will be held on 11 June 2021 instead of 30 April 2021. For this Admit Card Download must be completed from 24 to 26 April 2021.

Eligibility to Take Part in BDS Dental College Admission Test 2020-21 Click Here
Those candidates who have passed the HSC Equivalent Exam in 2020 or 2019 and the SSC Equivalent Exam in 2018 or 2017 from the Science group with Biology at least a total GPA of 9.00 and 3.50 in each subject may participate in the admission test. Candidates must have to acquire a 3.50 GPA in HSC Biology. But those who are from Tribal or non–tribal coming from the hilly district have to acquire a total GPA of 8.00 in HSC and SSC. - SSC Equivalent Passes: 2017 or 2018
- HSC Equivalent Passes: 2019 or 2020
- SSC Equivalent GPA: At least 3.50
- HSC Equivalent GPA: At least 3.50
- GPA in total: At least 9.00 (8.00 for Tribal or non–tribal from the hilly district).
- At Least GPA in Biology: 3.50.

The 1 Hour long Dental College Admission Test Exam will be held on 100 marks with 100 MCQ-type Questions with 1 mark for each question. The number will be cut deduct by 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer as a punishment for each wrong answer. 40 marks are the pass mark for the Dental College admission test. The Exam will be held on subjects named Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Knowledge, History of Bangladesh, and Freedom fight. Exam marks and overall Information at a glance:

HSC / Equivalence GPA x 25 = 125
Total 200 marks (Upper Limit) come from your SSC and HSC result.
