1. All theses/research work must be done at NIB and under a research supervisor from NIB.
2. BSc Engineering degree holders in Computer Science/ICT, Post Graduate and Doctoral Fellowship and PhD degree holders can apply for Post Doctoral Fellowship in Bioinformatics department.
3. Candidates age should be below 45 years for Post Doctoral Fellowship, below 35 years for Doctoral Fellowship and below 30 years for Post Graduate Fellowship and MS/MSc Thesis Fellowship as on the last date of submission of application.
4. A project proposal as per the action plan of ‘National Biotechnology Policy’ and/or in line with the ongoing research projects at NIB should be uploaded along with the online application in the prescribed format as per the table given below pdf file (maximum 2 pages which should be within 500 KB). • Click on Application Form option.
• Select any one of the 04 posts and click on Next.
• Select No then click Next again.
• Get National Institute of Biotechnology Job Application Form.

[Need to note, a color photograph and a signature photograph of the candidate will be required at the time of application. Before applying, keep two photographs with you. NIB Exam Admit Card Download:

National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB) recruitment exam admit card or admit card download will be intimated to the eligible candidates through SMS in due course. However, those candidates who are considered ineligible will not receive any SMS regarding admit card download. Receipt of National Institute of Biotechnology Recruitment Test Admit Card will be intimated in due course on National Institute of Biotechnology website and through SMS on candidate’s mobile phone (only eligible candidates). All communication related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone provided by the candidate in the online application form, so it is recommended to keep the number active at all times, read the SMS and follow the instructions received immediately.
